Real Temp

Real Temp is a combined program using which the user can obtain data on the temperature of the Intel Core processor sensors in the PC – Dual Core / Core / Core i7 / Quad-Core. Additionally, Real Temp has a built-in mini-test that can create a short-term load to evaluate processor performance. Other functions include changing TjMax, the values of the maximum operating critical temperature of processor cores. It is possible to overclock the chips to the maximum permissible performance, however, by abandoning the overheating protection system built into the computer. On this page you can download Real Temp for free.

Main characteristics

  • Reads temperature information from all Intel Core-based processors. Pentium 4 processors are not supported.
  • The ability to individually calibrate the actual temperature for each core of your processor.
  • The program is based on temperature data collected using a Fluke 62 IR Thermometer.
  • The Sensor Check feature will check your DTS sensors for any signs of problems.
  • Tracks minimum and maximum temperatures with full logging features.
  • Reporting and logging the Intel PROCHOT # thermal throttle activity bit.
  • Fast, highly accurate and repeatable test.
  • Displays MHz, TJMax, CPU ID, APIC ID and calibration settings.
  • High temperature alarm and shutdown function based on NVIDIA CPU or GPU temperature.
  • No installation or registry changes are required.
  • Supports Windows 2000 / XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 (32 and 64 bit) / Windows 11

Interface instructions

When launched, the utility will display you the most detailed information about the temperature. By default, temperature is shown in the leftmost icon on the Windows taskbar.

The main window of the program provides information such as:

  1. Unique identifier of the processor.
  2. Speed in MHz.
  3. Load (in percent).
  4. Temperatures of all cores.
  5. Distance to TJMax (maximum values).
  6. Minimum value for all time.
  7. Maximum value for all time.
  8. Thermal state of nuclei. It is written OK if everything is in order. If it says LOG, this is very bad and indicates that your cores have reached the temperature limit.
